Yacht Life: This $30,000 Dinner Cruise Is the Hampton’s Most Expensive Meal - Travel

The menu was crafted by three-Michelin-starred chef Masayoshi “Masa” Takayama.

The series of beach towns known as The Hamptons in eastern Long Island, New York, just got more luxurious. As the regular vacation spot of the wealthy and famous (Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Sarah Jessica Parker are regulars), it’s now offering a $30,000 dinner cruise.

On board an 88-foot Sanlorenzo yacht, diners can expect Dom Pérignon pours, an onboard butler, DJ, and an omakase menu by chef Masayoshi “Masa” Takayama. The renowned cook owns an eponymous three-Michelin-starred Japanese and sushi restaurant in Manhattan.

Takayama created each course to pair with the champagne house’s new bottles: Dom Pérignon’s vintage 2012, rosé 2008, and 2003 Plénitude 2.

The experience, which serves Hampton’s most expensive meal, can accommodate up to six guests. Meanwhile, the cruise departing from Sag Harbor Village Marina or Gurney’s Star Island Marina in Montauk will last four hours.
