With Gratitude And Appreciation: Harry Styles Takes Home Album Of The Year Award At The 2023 Grammys - LA Lives

The Grammys honors Harry Styles with the Album Of The Year award for his third LP, ‘Harry’s House.’

“I’ve been so so inspired by every artist in this category with me at a lot of different times in my life,” Harry says at the beginning of his speech, after letting out a few curse words of disbelief.

“I think on nights like tonight, it’s obviously so important for us to remember that there is no such thing as ‘best’ in music. I don’t think any of us sit in the studio making decisions based on what is going to get us one of these,” he adds, gesturing to the trophy in his hand.

He ends his short but sweet speech saying, “This is really, really kind. I’m so, so grateful… This doesn’t happen to people like me very often and this is so, so nice. Thank you very, very much.”

Harry then passes on the mic to his collaborators, co-writers and producers Tyler Johnson and Kid Harpoon. The singer moves off to the side to fist bump one of his fans who’s on stage with him.

78-year-old Reina from Sudbury, Ontario is one of Harry’s biggest fans. She was given the chance to announce him as the winner as well as present him with the award.

It was a big night for the British singer, who also won Best Pop Vocal Album earlier on. He also took the stage to perform his chart-topping single, “As It Was,” wearing a silver fringe jumpsuit.

Harry’s House, the singer’s third studio album, debuted at the top of the Billboard charts, staying at No. 1 for 15 consecutive weeks.

With four of his songs charting in the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time, he became the first British solo artist to achieve this feat.
