Sotheby’s, which will auction the racecar in Geneva, expects F1 fans to race for the bid.

“It’s…special because this car is one of the only four cars with more than four wins in Ferrari history. And especially with one of the most skilled drivers of his generation, Michael Schumacher,” RM Sotheby’s executive assistant to the director of sales Vincent Luzuy said.

The Sotheby’s representative said the target market consists of both race course buyers and art collecters who are hot on the vehicle’s tracks.

The red Ferrari is already “track-ready,” adding to its luxury marketable appeal.

Schumacher even raced the said vehicle a total of nine times, according to the auction house.
