The aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled the air at the newest branch of the famous Australian coffee chain Toby’s Estate in Whitespace, Makati. From its humble beginnings in a small space at the Century City Mall, the coffee chain has grown to six branches located in prime locations all over the city, thanks to the business acumen of local partners Marco Antonio, Marcel Crespo, Chut Cuerva and Manny del Rosario. The affair was made more special with the presence of Toby’s Estate founder and visionary Toby Smith who came along with Toby’s Master Roaster Alvaro Sanchez who gave the guests a tour of the facility and were treated to a coffee cupping session where professional coffee tasters observed the tastes and aromas of freshely brewed coffee. Delectable treats and invigorating refreshments were served all throught the day.
