To The World: NCT Members Make Their Fashion Week Debuts - K LIFESTYLE

Three members of the boy group have made their debuts at this year’s Paris, New York, and Milan Fashion Week.

Since debuting in 2016, members of the large boy group NCT have been called upon by fashion brands such as Celine, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Dolce & Gabbana.

Many of the boys have expressed their interest in the industry through their unique styles. This year, three members have been invited to different Fashion Week events.

Ten at Paris Fashion Week

Invited to the Saint Laurent Men’s Fall/Winter 2023 show, Ten kicked off the group’s series of Fashion Week appearances with a stunning airport look.

Airport fashion is a big deal in South Korea, with tons of paparazzi and fans often capturing photos of celebrities before they board their flights.

The Thai idol showed up to Incheon International Airport in a sleek, black outfit with show-stopping high heeled boots.

For the YSL show itself, Ten wore another all-black ensemble. This time, his outfit’s deep v-line collar stole everyone’s attention.

The top highlighted his slim frame and was complemented by drape trousers and an oversized coat.

Johnny at New York Fashion Week

Just last year, Johnny made waves in New York when he became the most talked-about person at the Met Gala. It’s no surprise that the Chicago-born idol would keep getting invited to fashion events in his home country.

This year, he was invited to sit at the front row of Thom Browne’s Little Prince-inspired Fall/Winter 2023 show.

For his look, Johnny opted for a classic gray suit which—he excitedly shares—is called the “fun mix.” The idol’s tall, slender frame is perfect to showcase the sleek look.

Johnny added a playful twist by requesting to have his hair styled in a slightly messy way, with curls framing his face.

According to Launchmetrics, Thom Browne’s post featuring the K-pop idol was the highest-performing for the brand.

Johnny emerged as a top celebrity at NYFW, gathering $1.8 million in overall Media Impact Value.

Jeno at Milan Fashion Week

Last year, NCT’s Jeno made history by being the first K-pop idol to open a New York Fashion Week runway show.

Designer Peter Do had previously worked with Johnny for his Met Gala appearance, and once again reached out to the boy group for his Spring/Summer 2023 collection.

This time, Jeno was invited to the unveiling of Ferragamo’s Fall/Winter 2023 collection at Milan Fashion Week.

The idol chose to wear a matching gray set featuring straight-leg trousers and a bomber jacket, a perfect mix of casual and elegant.

Jeno then met with Maximilian Davis, Creative Director of Ferragamo, at the show’s afterparty. Inga Griese of Icon Magazine called it a “heartwarming encounter.”

“Two polite, cool, brilliant young men. These are guys we want to see in the future,” she added.

According to Alison Bringé, Chief Marketing Officer at Launchmetrics, “NCT has emerged as one of the K-pop star groups seen on numerous front rows and bringing a significant uplift in brand exposure during Fashion Weeks.”

The group’s motto “To the world” is truly expanding, from music to the fashion sphere.
