Take a Peek: Jacquemus’ First Store in Paris Is Complete With a Minimalist Palette And A Large Popcorn Machine - The Scene

The brand is inspired by its F/W 2022 “La Papier” show, held at Arles in the South of France for the store’s interiors.

Jacquemus has opened its first boutique in Paris at 58 Avenue Montaigne. The concept store named “La Boutique Montaigne” spans 200 square meters. Its launch comes after the label’s founder and designer Simon Porte Jacquemus made an announcement through an Instagram post.

The brand is inspired by its F/W 2022 “La Papier” show, held at Arles in the South of France for the interiors. The all-white minimalist palette, plus some whimsical features, is seen throughout the new shop.

Beyond the main area and VIP salon sprinkled with Jacquemus handbags and RTW, there’s a large popcorn machine. During its grand opening on September 27, the brand offered the savory snack to visitors all day long. “This is a dream come true for me. It’s very symbolic to be back on Avenue Montaigne 11 years later,” Simon wrote on Instagram. “First time I was there was when I showed my third collection during Vogue fashion night in front of everyone, back in 2011.”
