With summer in full swing, Lexus is offering customers deals on its ES 350 and LS 500 (2020 model) sedans: 30 percent down payment, 24-month term, and zero percent interest.

The Lexus ES 350 (SRP P4,478,000) is a new generation vehicle by the Japanese luxury carmaker. Both the ES 350 and LS 500’s lineages can be traced to the brand’s debut lineup in 1989. Then, the first generation ES 250 and the flagship LS 400 were launched. The ES 300 followed two years later, then by a third generation ES 300 in 1996.

Lexus position the ES in the comfort luxury segment, interior amenities and smooth ride being their DNA characteristics. It has been the best-selling Lexus sedan for almost two decades.

The ES 350, which featured a six-speed automatic transmission with a front-wheel drive 272 hp aluminium 3.5 L 2GR-FE V6 engine, was launched at the 2006 Chicago Auto Show. Its exteriors had an all-new body in the style of L-finees, the car brand’s fresh design philosophy.

Car evolution

In 2012, the ES 350 bore a six-speed automatic transmission. A facelifted version was then launched at the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition in April 2015. A few months later, the 350 started manufacturing in the US.

The engineering team had one clear goal when it came to the ES: Turn a sedan known primarily for comfort and quietness into one that is equally capable of delivering class-leading handling and power that you can feel and hear.

It is built on the GA-K platform, which demonstrates high torsional rigidity and a low center of gravity. The car also features a sleek and bold exterior, a spacious, plush interior, and exciting driving performance.

The ES has been lauded and awarded by many organizations, including the Kelly Blue Book, Consumer Reports, Automobile Magazine, and the US News & World Report. In 2007, the 350 was named as the Canadian Car of the Year.
