Suitable for a small group of 4 to an intimate party of 10, the first installment of Spiral at Home specialties includes the L’Epicerie Grazing Box, Indian Thali, Japanese Omakase Set, Japanese Chirashi Don Tray, Japanese Sushi Platter, Korean Signature Set, Churrasco, and Spiral Burger Royale Kit presented in a self-heating hotbox for a hassle-free food preparation.
A treat for your taste buds
Leading the line-up is the signature Grazing Box, an homage to Spiral’s pièce de résistance— L’Epicerie. The kit contains 8 varieties of French and international cheeses and 6 varieties of premium cold cuts. These are complemented by French baguette, crackers, fruits, nuts, and honey to give your palate a delightful tickle. Available at PHP 15,000, the Grazing box is good for 10 guests to go along with wine night.
Spice and everything nice
Authentic Indian food is hard to come across in the metro, but Spiral offers it conveniently in one neat package. The Indian Thali is good for 4 people and only costs PHP 8,000. It’s a treasure trove of exotic spices and the unique flavors of India. Specially curated by Indian Chef SK Afsar Rahaman, the kit features achari chicken tikka, methi fish, lamb rogan josh, paneer butter masala, dal palak, basmati rice, naan bread, pickles, yoghurt, and papadum.
Asian affair
Cross over to the land of the rising sun. Japanese Chef Masahiro Mizumoto presents two sets that offer the island’s most famous dishes. First is the Omakase Set which includes yakisoba, Japanese fried rice, salmon croquette, beef teriyaki, assorted yakitori, pork tonkatsu, scallop and oyster fry, and assorted pickles. Next is the hearty Chirashi Don Tray. It features crowd favorites including unagi (grilled eel), oboro (sweet shrimp paste), tamago, vinegared salmon on sushi rice, kani, shimesaba (vinegared mackerel), ikura (salmon roe), and boiled shrimp. Both sets are available at PHP 8,000 and good for 4 people.
Sushi lovers are also in for a treat. Spiral’s popular sushi and sashimi atelier is also sumptuously represented in a colorful Sushi Platter. The vibrant box contains oshinko and kappa maki (pickled radish, cucumber), inari sushi (sweet beancurd), ebi fry maki, dragon roll (shrimp tempura, tobiko, avocado), California maki (kani, tobiko, avocado), futomaki (tamagoyaki, kampyo, cucumber, boiled shrimp, unagi), salmon teriyaki roll, unagi sushi, and ebi nigiri sushi good for 4-6 persons and available at PHP 8,000.
Fans of hallyu get a special spot with the Korean Signature Platter. It includes staples like the beloved Korean fried chicken, japchae, choice of either Korean beef stew or beef and chicken bulgogi combo, and banchan (selection of seasonal side dishes and kimchi). Share it among friends of 4 for just PHP 6,150.
Meat lovers’ nirvana
Have your own backyard feast with everything you can sink your teeth into. The Churrasco set includes 1.5 kilos of slow-cooked barbecue beef brisket, whole dry-rubbed chicken or pork butt, a kilo of assorted butcher’s sausages with 3 varieties of sides and 4 varieties of condiments. The set is good for 10-12 persons and available at PHP 15,500. You have the option to upgrade the brisket to a US Choice Angus T-bone or an Italian Fiorentina steak at PHP 18,000.
Hit the sweet spot between casual and grand with the Spiral Burger Royale and relish gastronomic pleasure with every bite. The kit includes Angus beef patties, foie gras slices, homemade brioche buns, onion marmalade, truffle mayonnaise, demi-glace sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes good for 4 persons. The Spiral Burger Royale is available at PHP 7,350.
