LOOK: Shake Shack to Open in BGC with Exclusive Menu

The first ever Shake Shack in the Philippines is serving new menu items exclusive to their Manila branch. Culinary Director Mark Rosati shares their Filipino-inspired dishes that fit the local palate as well as some of their classic items. From the familiar flavors of ube to adobo to even calamansi, Shake Shack whips up unique creations to satiate the appetite for something new and delectable at their BGC branch opening on May 10.

Food connoisseurs and casual foodies can indulge in their Manila Exclusives: thirst-quenching Ube Shake, a vanilla frozen custard blended with sweet ube; and Calamansi Limeade, a Shack classic lemonade with a sweet and tart combination and an added local twist from calamansi.

Another Filipino inspired menu item is their Concrete desserts:Uuuube-by-baby, a vanilla custard with ube, toasted coconut, and crispy pinipig. For chocolate fans, there’s the much-beloved Shack Attack. It is a mix of their chocolate custard, Bucky’s original brownie, Auro chocolate chunks, fudge sauce, and chocolate sprinkles. This item features local desserts treats like Bucky’s chocolate brownies and chocolate from local bean-to-bar Auro chocolate. For those craving for a zesty taste, have a Calamansi Pie Oh My, a vanilla custard with Wildflour Bakery’s famous calamansi pie.

For the classic fans of Shake Shack NYC, the local branch also features signature Shake Shack items like ShackBurgerⓇ with its premium beef that explodes with juicy beef in the first bite; Shack-cago Dog™ with Rick’s Pick Shack relish; and classic crinkle-cut fries.

For drinks, have your burgers with a glass of local Engkanto Brewery or Monkey Eagle craft beer; red and white Shack wine; and frozen custard ice-cream.

What makes Shake Shack menu items more unique is the exclusive food for your pets. These are Poochini™ or ShackBurger dog biscuits paired with vanilla custard and drizzled in peanut butter sauce, and Bag-O-Bones or Whole Pet Kitchen’s 5 ShackBurgerⓇ dog biscuits.

Shake Shack in Manila will certainly bring the NYC Shake Shack experience curated for the Filipino taste buds. The food items are made with high-quality ingredients and cooked to order to ensure freshness, making sure Filipino Shack fans can get the unique fast-casual dining experience exactly like in New York City.

Shake Shack Philippines will open in Central Square in Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City on May 10 at 11 AM. The launch will include fun activities starting at 9 AM.
