Here are our favorite celebrity costumes, from Kylie Jenner’s multiple high-production personas to Bella Hadid’s Halloween improvised look.

It’s no secret that celebrities go all-out for Halloween. After all, it’s a one-of-a-kind holiday about candy, horror films, and channeling a whole other persona. Here are our favorite costumes, from the most elaborate to (designer) makeshift ones that did the trick.

Alessandra Ambrosio

In a gothic look, the Brazilian supermodel completed her black leotard and cape look with body art and white contact lenses.

Bella Hadid

Although she was traveling on Halloween, the supermodel still put in high-fashion effort in her costume as a “walking heart.” Dressed in Schiaparelli, Hadid wore a hooded blood red gown paired with bleached-out eyebrows.

Halle Bailey

“Always wanted to be an Avatar,” the singer wrote in an Instagram post. And this year, Bailey did just that as Avatar‘s Neytiri.

The multi-slasher channeled three characters this year: an Agent Sexy Sliver, Captain Marvel, and Sailor Moon—who she credits as her “childhood icon.”

With her five-year-old daughter, Sienna, the Grammy-winning singer took inspiration from Serena and Venus Williams’s 2000 “Got Milk?” campaign.

The singer was electrifying as Marvel Comics’ Storm.

Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch, and Camila Mendes

The Riverdale actresses went all out as the ultimate Halloween trio from the witches of  Hocus Pocus (1993).

Nicola and Brooklyn Peltz Beckham

The couple dressed up as the characters of a classic: Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

Instead of a matching couple’s costume, the actress and baseball player went as Sting and Miss Argentina from Beetlejuice (1988).
