Players can traverse and collect Philippine tourist spots or Solaire facilities in this local take on the fast-dealing property trading board game. Such destinations include Boracay, Cebu, and Palawan—which only cost 200 Monopoly dollars each to completely own.

Meanwhile, the custom gilded tokens incorporate five Philippine hallmarks, namely the jeepney, kalabaw, lechon, tarsier, and vinta.

The integrated resort, in collaboration with Hasbro, released two versions of its Solaire Monopoly Board: Classic and Deluxe.

On one hand, the Classic edition is a bespoke rendition of the traditional Monopoly game board. Anyone can avail of this version until supplies last at the Solaire Boutique or through the member-only promo, Solaire Bonanza.

On the other hand, the Deluxe edition is made with faux leather and fine wood with gold finishing. This version has just 50 boards in existence, available only through the Monopoly Daily Fortune Treasure promo for Solaire Rewards members.

The said members can join the “treasure hunt” for 50 points daily during the redemption period that lasts until June 30.

Monopoly has recorded over a billion players in 114 countries and has translated the game in 47 languages as of 2015, according to Hasbro.

The Guinness World Records recognized it as the “most popular board game” with 500 million people playing it in 1999.
