When Maurizio Gucci meets the glamorous Patrizia Reggiani, the woman he marries in the film House of Gucci, Maurizio crafts a shaken martini. When the movie was released last November, Tanqueray came out with a co-branded kit to recreate the exact zesty martini.

It included barware, a glass, and a custom House of Gucci cocktail tray. Now, Gucci enters mixology with their own cocktail, developed by Giorgio Bargiani. The assistant director for mixology at London’s luxurious Connaught Bar went through 15 tastings in seven months to finalize the blend.
Shared heritage
“With Gucci, we’ve been bottling our shared heritage that, drawing from the aromas of the idyllic Tuscan gardens, expands to faraway worlds,” Bargiani wrote on Linkedin.
“Elisir d’Elicriso, the first collector’s cocktail of the House, is inspired by the latest addition to Florence’s Gucci Garden, #GucciGiardino24, to hero its characteristic sense of wonder.”
Elisir d’Elicriso, similar to a martini, blends vermouth, Tanqueray No. Ten Gin, Liquore no .4 Podere Santa Bianca, Muyu Vetiver Gris liqueur, white balsamic vinegar, Helichrysum Essential Oil, and red wine Guidalberto Tenuta San Guido.
According to the mixologist, it’s recommended on the rocks, with champagne, or as a highball with tonic water.

However, to order a cocktail, you’ll have to visit Giardino 25—the house’s new all-day cafe and bar in Florence. The establishment is the latest addition to Gucci Garden, creative director Alessandro Michele’s multidisciplinary space that features the Micheline Star-winning Gucci Osteria, bookstore, museum, and boutique celebrating everything Gucci.
