Superstar Wheels: A Look Into The Sports Cars And Luxury Rides Owned By BTS

One of the members still favored a 65.8 million-won model from a company they are endorsing.

As long-time ambassadors of automotive giant Hyundai Motor since releasing Palisade, it is only natural for BTS to own equally luxurious, tasteful cars. From Mercedes-Benz to Porsche, here are the cars some of the members have purchased throughout the years.

The vocalist owns a Porsche Panamera GTS. Fans were able to speculate the model when another member, Park Jimin, posted a video of himself in the passenger seat while Jin drives.

The original 2010-2016 Panamera was criticized for its heavy rear end. But in 2017, Porsche debuted a redesigned model with a streamlined body, lower roofline, and a long overhang at the rear. The price ranges from $79,000 to $153,000.

Newer Panamera GTS models highlight the sleek design with its high-gloss black finish in the side window trims, side air outlets, the 20-inch Panamera Design, and the black leather of the seats featuring GTS logos.

Apart from the Porsche, Jin reportedly owns a royal blue Aventador S Lamborghini. The price of the Italian sports car ranges from $425,021 for the S model to $577,461 for the SVJ Roadster.

Comparing it to the Panamera, Aventador looks more aggressive with its front end resembling a shark and hexagonal design of the exhaust pipes reminiscent of a space shuttle.

As attractive as its exteriors are, the interiors call for the same refinement. The sports car features an interactive liquid-crystal TFT display and a customized LED lighting system. However, the low roofline and limited rearward visibility translate to cramped headroom especially for tall drivers like BTS’ Jin.

Comfort may have to be sacrificed for a Lamborghini but with its bold, fierce exterior that is a certain head-turner, Jin’s purchase is worth it.

The youngest member of the group owns an AMG GT 63 S 4-door Mercedes Benz. Dubbed a “great white shark of luxury cars,” it boasts of a formidable exterior with its grille and warp-speed acceleration.

The interior has a decadent feel with its black Nappa leather and microsuede seats, a 12.3-inch infotainment display, and three touchpad controls that can access almost all of the car’s systems.

There is also plenty of space for legroom and cargo under the hatch. This makes the vehicle ideal for weekend trips—should Jungkook opt to take a short break with some of the band members.

At present, AMG is valued around $148,760 for the GT63 model while its upgraded version, GT63 S, costs $170,060.

As a global ambassador of Hyundai, the vocalist has taken a liking to the brand’s EV Concept Car Prophecy while filming the 110th episode of Run BTS. During the group’s own variety show, they had to play a mini-game involving a treasure hunt at the Hyundai Motor Studio.

V took photos with the car and eventually decided to purchase the Genesis GV80 model. The 2021 model was recognized as the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick for this year.

The luxury midsize UV has good gas mileage and turbocharged engines. Its features highlight second-row ventilated and power reclining seats, a 14.5-inch infotainment display, Smart Cruise Control, and Smart Parking Assist.

The price starts at 65.8 million won in 2020. This year, the 2.5T I4 AWD starts at $54,650 or 61.5 million won.
