The special edition Lamborgini Huracan, white with gold accents—a perfect reflection of the leader of the Roman Catholic Church, made its way to the Vatican last week. The 610 metric horsepower supercar was blessed by the pontiff immediately after.
Now donning the signature of Pope Francis on its hood, the Huracan—already expensive as it is, just upped in value. Originally $200,000 (Approximately PHP 10.2 Million), the Huracan’s value is now expected to skyrocket.
The car is set to be auctioned off and its proceeds will be given to a select amount of charities, one of them aimed at rebuilding homes and churches of the persecuted Christians from the Nineveh Plains in Iraq.
