Chef Markus Gfeller’s return to the local dining scene was a long-awaited comeback since his last venture through CAV. With Pinot, he once again satisfies with subtle yet strong dishes that – of course – are best paired with a glass of fine wine. A few months into Pinot’s run and already has its name been on everyone’s lips – or should I say tongue? The success of Markus’ new concept has even led to Pinot hosting Lifestyle Asia’s prestigious RSVP event with Charmaine Lagman back in August.

Pinot’s simple and sleek entrance conceals the bright and chrome interiors.

An established name in the BGC scene just three months into its run, Pinot is shaking things up again with its new weekly promo: Live Lobster Wednesdays. Designed with seafood lovers in mind, this midweek feast comes as a three-course meal. Each course highlights the flavor of the lobster in a different way. The first course is a lobster claw salad, made with grilled mango, aromatic greens, and vanilla vinaigrette. A bright and light start to the seafood meal. For the next course, a classic lobster bisque with dill froth – a smooth, creamy soup with a hint of sweetness. Lastly, the third course serving as the finale to your meal is a choice of either a herb-grilled lobster with garlic lemon beurre blanc or a baked lobster tail with beans and saffron hollandaise.
