On November 28, Discovery Hospitality will host its special edition webinar series on traveling in the new normal.
Having spent almost a year under lockdown, it is quite normal for Filipinos to grow nostalgic over traveling. Plans of plunging into glittering pools, having cocktails on a yacht, and witnessing the rich culture and tradition of other countries all remained as such, given the ongoing pandemic. However, now the world is gradually adopting a new form of tourism, it turns out traveling in the new normal may feel unfamiliar, but alluring at the same time.
Discovery Hospital (DHC) sheds light on the return of travel in its special edition World of Discovery webinar series called, Discover Now. It features thrilling conversations with different personalities about traveling in the new normal. This Saturday, the webinar begins with “Discover Boracay” to be streamed live from the stunning beaches of Discovery Shores Boracay.

Nostalgic for travel
As more resorts, exclusive clubs, private islands, and establishments open for tourism in the country, more Filipinos get enthused about finally going out. No one can blame them for this increasing desire as staying cooped in one place without experiencing the refreshing beauty of nature slowly takes a toll on one’s well-being.
Thankfully, establishments continue to implement strict health protocols that ensure the safety of guests. Thus, more and more Filipinos brave the pandemic and travel to different places. Recently, Boracay Island was among the reopened destinations, inviting travelers to once again, unwind along the breathtaking shores and in the luxurious resorts on the island. The new wonders
In delving into traveling in the new normal, Cebu Pacific partners with Philippine Airport Diagnostic Laboratory (PADLAB) to host the webinar. Well-known figures David Guison, Angelique Manto, and Marj Sia will share their experience in the reopened Boracay Island. From planning the trip, gathering the health requirements of the local government unit, doing swab tests, flying to Caticlan Airport, to landing in white shores, the first episode will cover these and more.
The personalities will talk about their current stay in Discovery Shores Boracay. They will highlight the new and thrilling experiences travelers should expect both in the luxury hotel resort and in Boracay Island itself.
Hosted by Chris Tiu, the Discover Now webinar will definitely be every traveler’s guide to the reopened Boracay in this new normal.
