Mirèio in Raffles Makati has been a staple for French-Mediterranean cuisine for many in the metro. Featuring their creative dishes by Chef Hervé Clair who hails from Provençe himself, we get a true authentic taste of the blending of French and Mediterranean flavors with their lunch and dinner menus. Now, their dishes get even more exciting with Mirèio getting the Portuguese touch with an exclusive dinner series by renowned visiting Chef João Correia.
As the Executive Chef of Lisbon’s iconic Rossio Gastrobar, Chef João brings his culinary expertise of Portuguese flavors and masterfully blends it with Mirèio’s signature Mediterranean flair. Creating a 4-course dinner that will be exclusively available on October 30 and 31.
The menu will be a mix of seafood, seasoned vegetables, and, of course, an array of spices that gives that distinct Portuguese character to Mirèio’s usual fare. The first course will be taste of the sea with poached Codfish in olive oil served with Olives á Brás and Dried Tomatoes. Next course will continue the feast in the sea with Red Snapper, Scarlet Shrimp, and Burnt Samphire Carolino Rice. After the freshness of the sea, we go to the savoriness of the earth with a serving of Pork Presa, Roasted Pumpkin, and seasonal vegetables with smoked sauce. Lastly, for dessert, you’ll get a rich Abade de Priscos pudding served with Calamansi Sorbet and Mango for a Filipino touch. Of course, this premium dinner is best paired with vintage wines that Mirèio is well-stocked in.
