Michelin Starred Chef Opens The Pig & Palm in Cebu - Lifestyle Asia

It was a gastronomical feast like no other at the opening of The Social Company’s newest food destination The Pig and Palm in Cebu City. Michelin starred Chef Jason Asherton together with his wife Irha and his partners Chris and Carla McKowen served mouth-watering dishes such as Deep-fried Chipirones, Togarashi, Ink Aioli, Lime, Jamon and Manchego Toastie with Quail’s Eggs, Slow-cooked Egg, Braised Ox Cheek, Ox Dashi and Creamed Potato, Lechon de Leche with Spiced Pork Fat Roasted Carrots and Herb Dressing and Milk and Honey Goat Cheese Ice Cream to Cebu and Manila’s social set, Tessa Prieto Valdes, Kaye Tinga, Ferdi Salvador and Rajo Laurel to name a few flew in to join the celebration that lasted till the next day where a sumptuous breakfast was served making this gastronomical treat a foodie’s delight.
