These are not just any shoes, but an exclusive collaboration between Bridgerton and the London-based footwear house Malone Souliers to celebrate the show’s second season. According to the brand, they would like customers to wear these shoes and carry with them the same feeling of confidence as Daphne when she made her mark on the world.
The Women’s collection comes in a range of new styles inspired by the shoes of the era, with a quirky Bridgerton twist. Iconic Malone Souliers styles the Maureen, Frankie and Marguerite are now in jacquard heels and jacquard flats. These lavish looks are inspired by the show’s central characters: Daphne Bridgerton is referenced in pale blue with a raised floral design in the Maureen 70MM, while Penelope Fetherington’s bright style comes across in a series of moiré-patterned flats and yellow stilettos like the Frankie 45 MM and Frankie Flat.
The Marguerite 85MM and Marguerite Flat come in lace mesh with velvet bows. These are inspired shoes produced during the 1800s. The Sonia 85MM Heels amp up the drama with dazzling bright blue feathers. The Marion 70MM makes a statement with its appliquéd crystal-studded flowers and brings to mind the embellishments of the show’s show-stopping gowns.
Male fans of the show won’t want to miss out on the collection of dress loafers and slippers. The Luca penny loafer in burgundy calfskin is a new twist on the slip-on. The Alberto suede loafer is interpreted in a pale blue shade. The Rene slipper in dark floral jacquard is inspired by the costumes of Anthony Bridgerton.
