LOOK: Cliff Ho and Martine Cajucom’s Bali Wedding is #GOALS

Cliff Ho and Martine Cajucom met through Martine’s cousin, Georgina. It was just the right time, because as Martine tells it, “Georgina and Cliff were formerly co-hosts and just as he was about to leave Manila and move back to Melbourne, I was moving back to Manila from LA.”

Cliff asked her to marry him in Alila Villas Uluwatu, in Bali the same place where they got married. “He told me it was just a fun casual trip with some of his friends but he had planned to propose the entire time,” she says.

They booked the entire resort for friends and family who attended the wedding. An expert in social media marketing, Martine’s choices for everything, from the “Millennial Pink-esque” welcome party, the wedding itself and the reception was Instagram-worthy.

During the welcome dinner, Martine wore a pink Marchesa gown. Then on Sunday, she donned a customized Rosa Clara wedding dress, before changing into a reception dress from Israeli designer Dana Harel with a tiara from Jennifer Behr.

The wedding cake was made by Ixora Cakes from Bali, and styled by the bride’s sister Andrea with pressed flowers from LA. “It was a lemon butter cake and so delicious,” says Martine.

Considering their relationship very non-traditional, Martine says what she found most special about her wedding was being able to apply that unconventional lifestyle to their wedding. Instead of having a traditional officiant, they asked their friend Arthur Burnand to officiate the wedding, and keep the ceremony short and sweet. “Our biggest treat was spoiling our guests to two nights at Alila Villas Uluwatu because we wanted them to experience what we felt when we got engaged last year,” she says.
