Fashion designer Charina Sarte launched her latest collection titled “Holiday in the Tropics” to celebrate the ninth anniversary of her Greenbelt 5 store. Known for her chic but sexy silhouettes, Charina designs for “the woman who knows what she wants and settles for nothing less.” This new collection drew its inspiration from the designer’s love for traveling. It featured feminine pieces in romantic silhouettes, light fabrics and vibrant colors
“This collection is an ode to the tropics. The pieces are fancy enough for the holiday festivities, but are light and chic, still perfect for a truly tropical holiday. The pieces remind me of home, with a few European touches here and there. They are pieces I would wear to a holiday get-together in Manila and even in Paris,” shared Sarte.
Manila fashion girls, loyal friends and clientele attended the launch. They enjoyed a specially prepared brunch by Moët & Chandon. The six-course brunch included a champagne pairing, led by Moët & Chandon brand ambassador Matthieu Lerat. Dessert was sweet, especially when each guest received their surprise loot bag with skincare treats from La Mer inside a Charina Sarte-designed feather pouch.
