The supermodel updates Instagram bio stating herself as the founder and creative director of Guest In Residence.
“Been workin on something … with love, @guestinresidence, ” Gigi Hadid wrote in her most recent Instagram post. A flood of supportive comments followed fueling excitement about the model’s upcoming and first solo clothing line, Guest In Residence.

Supermodel sister Bella Hadid commented, “What we’ve all been waiting for.”
“So excited about this,” shared Hailey Bieber.
Her mom Yolanda Hadid also offered words of encouragement, “So exciting. Love you and am so proud of you my love!”
The recent Instagram post teased with a carousel of photos including sample pieces of knitwear. One image showed what looks like a soft powder blue hoodie layered on top a celadon turtleneck while another photo featured two piles of fabric in various palettes of brown, orange, yellow, and blue.
In April of this year Hadid already showed her designer prowess by collaborating with childhood friend Francesca Aiello on a swimwear collection for Frankies Bikinies.
A story by Vanity Fair reports that Hadid and Aiello referred to their Malibu childhood for inspiration while the model’s mother’s Pennsylvania home was another point of reference as well. Hadid shares in a press release to announce the launch of the collection, “We designed this collection with so much love, and I believe that really shines through in the details. Both Frank and I have very social lives but also are big homebodies, and the collection really embodies that side of us.”
An Instagram caption from @frankiesbikinies says: “For those who don’t know, Gigi and Francesca grew up together spending most of their free time at the beach. Their simple days in Malibu shaped their appreciation for the strong friendship they would develop over the years. They’ve supported each other since the beginning, which is why coming together to design a collection all these years is rooted in friendship and inspired by Gigi’s carefree days at her family’s dreamy countryside home, full of sentiment and nostalgia.”
