Two Design Houses Create Timeless Jewelry -

The union of two highly acclaimed jewelry houses in the country resulted in one-of-a-kind stellar pieces that showcase Filipino craftsmanship at its finest.

Jewelmer Joaillerie led by Jacques Christophe Branellec, Jewelmer’s Executive Vice President and Deputy CEO officially launched its partnership with renowned designer Wynn Wynn Ong, a first for both design houses, at the Old Manila restaurant in The Peninsula Manila. The first five pieces from its capsule collection was presented to their VIP clients that included Sofia and Patxi Elizalde, Lorna Laurel, Arlene Cu, Feli Atienza, Salome Uy and Evelyn Forbes.

The highly textured and organic settings remained true to Wynn Wynn’s style where each piece was made with brilliant stones and Jewelmer’s signature South Sea pearls set in 18 and 24carat gold. Miss Universe Philippines Maxine Medina together with Marie Ann Umali and Fatimah Rabago modeled the pieces that reflect Philippine myths such as the Hanan necklace named after the Goddess of the Morning, the Haliya ring named after the Philippine goddess of the moon, the Alunsina cuff named after the virgin goddess of the Easter skies, the Kalawakan and Minaden earrings.

The pieces were flown to New York for an exhibit at the Asia Society.
