PLDT Home and Lionsgate Play hosted an exclusive screening and the Philippine premiere of Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend for executives and media at Cinema 1 of The Podium Director’s Club on January 26.

According to PLDT Home, they aim to provide “the ultimate lifestyle and entertainment experience at home” for “experience seekers and discerning movie buffs, as well as car and racing enthusiasts looking for quality entertainment content.”
The event experience began with guests arriving at the lobby of The Podium’s Director’s Club Cinema 1 where their photographs were taken at the red carpet area featuring a holo photo area. The red carpet space offered elegance and exclusivity with a mock-up of a Lamborghini. Guests enjoyed the holo photo area with unlimited shots for four hours, complete with backdrop and lighting as well as customized polaroid frames. A gorgeous grazing table thoughtfully curated with a variety of delectable cheese, coldcuts, fruits, nuts, and an array of bread was available for guests to indulge in.

Upon settling in our comfortable plush leather seats at Director’s Club Cinema 1, complete with in-house butler service and exclusive movie menu, guests were greeted warmly by host James Deakin followed by opening remarks and by PLDT Home’s representative and a movie introduction by Lionsgate Play’s Cecile Mariano.

Lamborghini: The Man Behind the Legend follows the rise of Ferruccio Lamborghini, set against the backdrop of post-war Italy, from his modest beginnings as a tractor manufacturer all the way to his life’s finale of becoming an icon and legend in the automobile industry. The story takes us through the life of a young Lamborghini, ambitious and eager to make his mark, driven by the desire to leave his legacy, dreaming to beat his longtime rival, Enzo Ferrari. The film’s highlight is the upcoming Geneva grand prix, which Lamborghini eyes as his chance to surpass Ferrari once and for all.
