At the start of childhood, young girls are taught about having proper hygiene. Mothers emphasize how important it is to take care of their bodies. Heart Ongpauco-Escudero echoes a similar belief as she grew up. Like all other women, she experiences stress and daily challenges. This is why she recognizes the need to stay fresh. On taking care of your body
At the press conference of Heart’s partnership with the beauty brand, the fashion enthusiast shared her learnings and personal experiences. When she was younger, she was not that particular with how she carries herself. But as she matured, she realized she has to start being meticulous in taking care of her body. Heart said, “make sure what you put in your skin is good.” She commented that Beauty Library’s Feminine Mist is one of the good products to use. Apart from being cruelty-free, the mist is made of all natural plant ingredients. It is also hypoallergenic and neutralizes odor in the intimate area without having to rinse.
On glowing from within
Heart admitted she still has fears and anxieties in life. But she clears up that she finally reached the point in her life where she truly loves herself. “This is who I am: I am not tall, I am not mestiza, I am not a certain way, and I’ve learned to really love and accept myself.”
How did Heart do this? She shared “you really have to work from within.” Start with caring for your health–from your food and vitamin-intake to the products you use for your body. But what is essential is learning to love yourself. Heart even recalled the advice her mother gave. In life, there are several challenges that come her way but at the end of the day, it is about treasuring herself as a woman, “you have to know who you are and your worth.” Heart believes that “once you truly love yourself, I think you bloom more.”
