💜 "#JoieDeVivre !! I choose to pursue life the way i know how… and the way I know best. Filled with optimism, laughter, hopes, dreams, and even with songs. I choose to see and be empowered by all these… to nurture my own #Courage… being #Hopeful… and staying #Strong… as together we face a real #BraveNewWorld and even a fast-changing #NewWorldOrder that is continously getting redefined each day. Amidst all these plethora of changes and even confusion… whenever I see glimmers of joy from the smile of a child. I know deep in my heart tomorrow's will be alright. Just keep on believing." 💜 I love you our sweet Scarlet Snow… and thank you !! 💜 In recent months, many aspects of our society have been tested and struggles never before encountered have shaken our very way of life. Although fear is the common instinct to act on in this difficult time, I choose to act beyond it. In the darkest times, even the smallest light will shine. When all is grim, the simplest act of courage can have a great impact. To this, I invite eveyone to #HaveCourage. Thank you my dearest love… @arataseina_ for nominating moi. Thank you @fiercedong. Abigail Co-Haw expressed her faith by sharing a bible verse, explaining how God brings out the best in us and ultimately helps us find the courage from within to brave any circumstances that we face. Dr. Z Teo also narrated how his faith carried him and his family throughout the effects of the health crisis and encouraged people to find strength through Him.

With Mikko Tung and Linda Ley, both told their tales of bravery through the actions they did to help their families. Aside from keeping their faith in God, Mikko and his wife Sambie, were inspired to draw courage from one another and aid their employees through the tough economic dents of the pandemic. Linda also shared how keeping your family’s mental health in check is essential to get through this crisis.

For Brian Cu, who also appears in the September 2020 issue of Lifestyle Asia, courage is also about doing the right thing at the right time and cites our noble frontliners as examples of courage. After all, as he says, it’s not just about doing bold, grand gestures.

In an inspired statement, Aliah Dimaporo shares how anyone, regardless of age or economic status, can contribute to shaping this new world we live in with a more positive attitude and caring nature. Big or small, our deeds can affect the lives of the people around us immensely. And we completely agree.

In recent months, many aspects of our society have been tested and struggles never before encountered have shaken our very way of life. Although fear is the common instinct to act on in this difficult time, I choose to act beyond it. In the darkest times, even the smallest light will shine. When all is grim, the simplest act of courage can have a great impact. To this, I invite everyone to #HaveCourage. . . While I kept myself productive, adhered to quarantine rules, supported communities within my reach, and nurtured my most treasured relationships in the best ways I "distantly" could, it took me a while to accept that covid hasn't just put our lives on hold. Our social and political landscapes have critically changed… and later, if we don't do anything about it now, we'll suffer further from the effects of our current "disposables" way of life on our environmental landscape. It's easy to stupefy in frustration, resentment and anger from recent events and fear for the future. But it's also a shame to waste energy on negativity when it could be channeled to finding lasting solutions. I stepped out of a comfortable "me" zone in isolation, junked my pre-covid life plans, and started to move new ideas forward towards a stronger future for "us". True, it is a time for survival, but some of us are more able than most to help the weak, young, elderly, sad, lonely, Kuya Grab, Ate Cashier, all health workers, and more… even if it's as simple as making people smile for a moment, committing to #buyLokal #supportLokal, tipping or simply being patient with people. Anyone can make a difference with a daily habit of good deeds. . . And this is why I am constantly inspired by @marganograles, who wears many hats with grace – wife to a stellar public servant, mother, businesswoman, mentor to indigenous tribes, daughter, and a really great friend to many. Through @kaayo.ph, she has touched lives, provided livelihood to indigenous women, and contributed to needs of health workers. Thank you for sharing your personal story. #LifestyleAsiaCourage #LifestyleAsiaPH
