Going Hybrid: Lexus Philippines Debuts Two New Lexus UX Models With Optimized Fuel Productivity - Play

The UX 250h F Sport and UX 250h Premier–both hybrid vehicles, were built to boost fuel productivity while reducing harmful environmental emissions.

Lexus Philippines introduces the new Lexus UX, available in two hybrid models, the UX 250h F Sport and UX 250h Premier. For the Japanese car manufacturer, unique experiences go hand in hand with sustainability and a genuine concern for the natural environment. In effect, the vehicles have better fuel efficiency with lower carbon emissions.

Both UX 250h F Sport and UX 250h Premier variants are equipped with a Lexus self-charging hybrid powertrain

The UX 250h F Sport and UX 250h Premier are both equipped with Lexus’ self-charging hybrid powertrain (meaning no plug-in charging is required), including the 2.0-liter gasoline engine, hybrid transaxle, compact battery, and power control unit. 

According to the brand, which is marketed in over 90 countries, the 184ps/135kW total system output equals a natural and responsive driving experience while boosting your fuel’s productivity. 

The hybrid variants of LS flagship, Lexus IS sport sedan, Lexus RX SUV, Lexus NX crossover,
and the Lexus ES are now offered in the Philippines.

Greener Future

Verus Lexus’ previous hybrid systems, the UX variation paired with the gas engine, are more compact. The 10 percent lighter weight generates less internal friction. However, thanks to the Power Control Unit (PCU), the models are more powerful, yet 20 percent smaller and 10 percent lighter. With the new 4th generation hybrid battery, the NEW UX now includes an 8-year HEV battery warranty. Alternatively, it offers a standard drive train warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km (whichever comes first). 

The UX 250h F Sport and UX 250h Premier are both equipped with Lexus’ self-charging hybrid powertrain
(meaning no plug-in charging is required).
