Ferragni and her family (mother Marina and sisters Valentina and Francesca) join together in Tod’s Generations. This encapsulates the fundamental values of the Italian lifestyle for the new generations.

Through a story that documents private moments, activities, and meetings in the day-to-day life of two
generations of women, Tod’s Generations expresses the brands roots embedded in Italy’s culture and
heritage, with an emphasis on family values.

Born in Cremona in 1987, Ferragni was chosen by the Beatrice agency in Milan at the age of 16, modeling for them for a couple of years before stopping. She started her fashion blog The Blond Salad in October 2009, when she was 22.

Two years later, New York Magazine was calling her “one of the biggest breakout street-style stars of the year,” while Teen Vogue called her the “Blogger of the Moment.”

Now married to the italian rapper and influencer Fedez, the two have two kids, Leo and Vitto. Last year, Ferragni joined the Board of Directors of the Tod’s Group.

The “Gommino” becomes the theme of the Ferragni’s recent campaign, an element inseparably linked to the life of the characters, handed down from generation to generation.

Set in a typical Italian villa on Lake Como, Chiara Ferragni and her family interact with objects that transcend fashion and age; the timeless yet contemporary “Gommino” and the Tod’s bag with Gommino details. Tradition and modernity find the right balance in a historical and iconic creation of the Tod’s brand.

“The Gommino is one of the icons of Italian taste, I remember it from my childhood and I like the idea that it
is a timeless classic to be handed down from generation to generation,” says Ferragni.

The two campaign partners also decided to make a donation to Bambini delle Fate, a non-profit organization that supports education for families with autistic children and other disabilities.
