Rib eye Tagalog, pan-seared scallops, and miso-glazed black bass mark the return of the Makati spot.
If you’re still looking for ideas on what to do for the 14th, some of our favorite haunts and hangouts are reopening and offering special menus.
Dine-in for a romantic dinner for two as Discovery Primea’s Flame reopens for a lavish 4-course dinner on Valentine’s weekend, over the Makati skyline. The menu includes an Amuse Bouche, Pan-Seared US Scallops, Miso-Glazed black bass, Josper grilled rib eye “Tagalog,” and “Chocnut” marquise, all at P2,200++ per person. In case you don’t fancy going out, the hotel’s Tapenade is offering a curated Three-course menu inclusive of a bottle of prosecco at P3,000 (net) for two.
Over at the other side of the metro, 22 Primeoffers dinner featuring a special sous vide wagyu striploin, at P2,500 (net) per person. (They are also offering gifts with special chocolate pralines and a bouquet of flowers for an additional P1,500.) The Discovery Prime restaurant is also making its award-winning steaks (signature Tomahawk, and steak platters for two) available for pickup or delivery. (Pre-order is required two days prior.)
If you find yourself out of town for the coming weekend, Discovery Shores Boracay is offering a five-course menu for two. Club Paradise Palawan, meanwhile, has a four-course set of elevated Filipino dishes. This includes a bottle of wine and dining by the beach.
To ensure best practices in safety, service and care among Discovery’s hotel and resorts are implemented, the group continuously partners with Lysol for the proper disinfection of its facilities.
