Alexandre Arnault, scion of French luxury group Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH), has tied the knot with designer fiance Géraldine Guyot in a civil wedding ceremony over the weekend at the French capital, Paris.

The marriage comes six months after the couple announced their engagement and two years since they started dating. The two have known each other since childhood.

Alexandre is the second son of LVMH chairman and CEO Arnold Arnault, who has been in a back-and-forth contest with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos to become the world’s richest man.

The 29-year-old groom is currently the executive vice president of product and communications at Tiffany & Co. and previously served as CEO of Rimowa. Guyot, meanwhile, is a French accessories designer who created her own label, D’Estree. In 2020, she was included in the Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for retail and e-commerce.

Much of the ceremony’s details were kept under wraps, as per usual with high society weddings as of late, but the civil wedding is as chic as it can get.

Guyot, for instance, opted for a simple yet elegant high collar, long-sleeved, white Loewe dress with floral embroidery designed by Jonathan W. Anderson.

“Stepping into a lifetime of love and happiness wearing the most dreamy dress,” she writes in an Instagram post. “Thank you Jonathan Anderson and the Loewe team for making this special day even more unforgettable.”

She completed the look with a pair of low-heeled leather sandals, a low ponytail, silver earrings, and dainty flowers for a bouquet.

Alexandre also kept it classy with a gray suit, with a pop of color via a blue necktie.

Guests in attendance included model Naomi Campbell, singer Pharrell, American socialite Lauren Santo Domingo, and DJ David Guetta.

The couple are expected to settle down in New York, as Guyot has mentioned in an Instagram post earlier this year.

“Looking forward to 2021,” she wrote. “[It is an] exciting year of changes and new horizons as we will be moving to New York and I will be running [my brand] from there.”
