Rajo will be tooting and booting the looks on the Emmy-winning reality show.
Filipino fashion designer Rajo Laurel will join the Drag Race Philippines panel as a rotating judge during the first season.

“Good morning! I have fabulous news! So happy to share with you all that I will be one of the main rotating judges in my absolutely favorite show on Earth!” Laurel posted the news.
Drag Race Philippines is the local franchise of the Emmy-winning reality television series created by RuPaul in 2009.
It announced Laurel as a rotating judge alongside photographer BJ Pascual and actor-comedian Jon Santos.
The three will join the main panel consisting of host, Paolo Ballesteros, and permanent judges, KaladKaren Davila and RuPaul’s Drag Race alumna Jiggly Caliente.
The world is your runway
Drag Race contestants “bring it to the runway” every episode on the main stage. This is aside from the week’s mini and maxi challenges where they can score wins and other prizes including cash.
The fashion designer will help the judges critique the queens’ runway looks based on execution and that week’s theme. He is also free to comment on the contestants’ challenge performance—much like Carson Kressley or Santino Rice on the original franchise.
Fans expect Laurel to particularly judge episodes with design challenges.
Rumored spoilers so far include a ball challenge with three looks. The alleged categories are hometown, Pinoy pop culture, and a garment that contestants must construct from Filipino handicrafts.
Another rumored design challenge has the queens make an outfit from Divisoria items.
Of course, this speculation must be taken with a grain of salt until the first season officially concludes.
