The Crash Landing on You star stars in a campaign featuring the summer scent, Tom Ford Private Blend Soleil Brûlant.
It seems that luxury brands can’t get enough of Hyun Bin. After becoming an Omega ambassador last November, the South Korean star was just named as Tom Ford Beauty’s first regional attaché.
The 38-year-old will front a campaign for the 2021 summer fragrance Tom Ford Private Blend Soleil Brûlant. The notes of the largely citrusy scent include Pink Pepper, Mandarin Orange, Bergamot, Honey, Orange Blossom, Resin, Olibanum, Amber, and Vetiver.
“As a longtime fan of Tom Ford, I am honored and privileged to be the first fragrance attaché for the region, and look forward to working with the brand,” says the actor.
Born and raised in Seoul, Hyun has been acting since the early aughts. But it was his role as Hyun Jin-heon in the 2005 series My Lovely Sam Soon that caught the attention of the public. Over the start of the pandemic, the actor made a mark as Captain Ri in the worldwide hit Crash Landing on You, cementing his status as a global personality.
Three years ago, Hyun was also named as an ambassador for Lexus, Toyota’s luxury vehicle division. He appeared in a campaign for the Lexus Seventh Generation ES 300h. The actor has also been the face of Samsung in Korea, and an ambassador for both Bench and Smart Communications in the Philippines.
For Omega, Hyun fronted a campaign that featured the Swiss watchmaker’s Constellation Gents’ 41MM, Seamaster Diver 300M Chronograph, and Seamaster Diver 300M.
Last February, it was announced that Hyun is set to star in a follow-up to his 2017 action film Confidential Assignment, where he plays a North Korean detective. There has been some speculations that he will be marrying his girlfriend and Crash Landing on You Co-star Son Ye Jin, which fans hope to confirm in an upcoming Philippine virtual meet.
