Lifestyle Asia’s widely anticipated annual coffee table book RSVP Lifestyle Asia: Living at its finest, was launched at the Grand Ballroom of Marriott Hotel Manila. This special edition highlights some of Manila’s most discerning hosts and hostesses and their unique style in creating lavish tablescapes, mouthwatering recipes and entertaining tips. The book launch began with flowing cocktails from Moet et Chandon Brut Imperial and fine spirits by Hennesy VSOP and GlenMorangie served with a well-curated platter of Castello cheese and assorted bread with Lurpak Butter. The five-course dinner began with Chicken liver Mouse in Port Wine Cherry Glaze followed by Braised Beef Ravioli in Essence of Beef. The entrée was Lobster Thermidor with Truffle Linguini followed by the main course, a generous serving of CRU Steak House Certified Tenderloin paired with exquisite wines by Terrazas Altos del Plata Chardonnay and Terrazas Altos del Plata Malbee. The dessert course of Potted Chocolate Pudding signaled the start of the program that began with a musical presentation by international stage actress Pinky Amador that enthralled the audience with her rendition of two Edith Piaf classics Padam and La Vien Rose, which she sang in three languages.
The Lifestyle Asia team unveiled the book cover on stage, soon after the LED screens opened as BMW unveiled its all-new 7 Series with Lifestyle Asia Associate Publisher and Features Editor Franco Laurel and Editor at Large Cheryl Tiu on the passenger seat. They were joined by One Mega Group Founder and CEO Sari Yap and One Mega Group Chairman Jerry Tiu on stage. Asian Carmakers Corporation’s Deputy Sales Director Robert Henares introduced the luxury sedan amid pomp and pageantry. Guests went home with their very own copy of the book.
The book launch was presented by BMW and the official venue, Marriott Manila and supported by Arla Foods, Focus Global, Jewelmer, Shiseido, Blo Blow Dry Bar and the official venue, Marriott Manila.
