Celebrities clad in Villaseñor’s brand over the years include Justin Bieber, LeBron James, Nick Jonas, Kendrick Lamar, and Jay-Z.
Swiss luxury brand Bally has welcomed fashion designer Rhuigi Villaseñor as its new creative director.

The Manila-born creative has been the founder, chief executive officer (CEO), and creative director of luxury streetwear brand Rhude since 2015.
As creative director, Villaseñor will oversee the artistic direction across the brand.
His first collection for Bally will be presented in the Spring/Summer 2023 season.
“Having found the right champion in Rhuigi, we are ready to move Bally to the next level,” Bally CEO Nicolas Girotto said.
“[His] deep understanding of Bally’s history coupled with a distinct appreciation of the Swiss lifestyle will be instrumental in ushering the brand into the future.”
Villaseñor is known for his unique reinterpretation of the modern wardrobe. His work references American iconography and combines luxury techniques with streetwear elements.
The designer was raised by an architect father and a tailor mother, living in several continents before moving to the United States at the age of 9.
“I am proud to be appointed as the new creative director of Bally. As a brand that is very dear to my heart, Bally has been worn in my family from generation to generation, from my grandfather to myself,” Villaseñor said.
With his vision for the brand aligned with Girotto’s, the 29-year-old honorably accepted the challenge before him.
“I have always admired the Swiss approach to luxury, its discreet representation of excellence, and symbiotic openness and care for the environment,” he said.
Villaseñor dedicated his achievement to the “kids and dreamers.”
“It’s the mark of a new era and vision for one of the oldest luxury fashion houses. I’m excited to tell my story and bring you all through this journey along with my team, family, and loved ones.”
