“Subtlety, elegance and originality are unquestionable features of Bulgari,” the 21-year-old says.
Elite star Ester Expósito was just named as Bulgari’s newest global ambassador.
The 21-year-old Spanish actress and model is riding high after the success of her Netflix and films such as Someone Has to Die. She has become a social media star as well on Instagram to the tune of 28 million followers.
Born in Madrid in 2000, Expósito finished her studies at the age of 16 then shortly took acting classes. She already has had some success at that point, having won Best Actress the Madrid Theater Awards in 2013 and 2015.
Her first foray into television was in 2016, in the Spanish serial drama Vis a Vis. She then followed it up with a recurring role in Daniel Écija’s Estoy Vivo the next year.
Her fame went international in 2018 when she got cast as Carla Rosón in Elite, Netflix’s teen thriller set in Las Encinas.
Expósito shared in an interview with OprahMag.com that she felt that in, just two years, Élite has “changed my life completely. Even though I had already done two movies and participated in other shows, the success of this show has obviously made, like, a before and after in my career, where now people know who I am around the world.”
She continues about her talked-about character on Elite: “I’ll always appreciate what Carla has taught me.”
After her film Mom and Dad and reprising Carla in Elite: Short Stories, the five-foot-five actress will be busy in the coming year, with four film projects planned.
“Subtlety, elegance and originality are unquestionable features of Bulgari,” she says.
“Being a global ambassador for a brand that has always fascinated me and has accompanied me throughout my career is an incredible step forward.”
Expósito says she loves “the values it represents and the family it has managed to build over the years. I am truly happy to have Bulgari by my side throughout my journey.”
