Fans from around the world keep their eyes on the highly anticipated movie cast’s arrival at the Venice Film Festival, as Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, and Olivia Wilde make their entrance.
The much-anticipated movie follows an American couple residing in Victory, the seemingly perfect community where conflict brews as the wife (Florence Pugh) becomes increasingly suspicious about her husband’s (Harry Styles) company.
Wilde has said in a statement that she is honored and thrilled that Don’t Worry Darling will have its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival.
She continues, “When we dreamed of making this movie, we imagined Venice as our ultimate goal, and we can hardly believe it’s really happening!”
The director’s first full-length feature was Booksmart, a coming-of-age comedy released in 2019. She also directed Wake Up, a short film that showed in 2020 which follows a woman recovering from amnesia while rediscovering her humanity amid a changing digital environment.
Here’s a previous short clip of Florence Pugh sharing her experience working with Harry Styles on Don’t Worry Darling. Pugh shares that Styles was a “total professional and that it was a great experience.”
Don’t Worry Darling will be released starting September 23, 2022.
