There are many ways to help those at the helm of fighting this global outbreak, even from a community quarantine.

While we are presumably in much better conditions than most, our concern shouldn’t just stop there. We’ve already heard of hoarding horror stories and stubborn responses to the government-mandated community quarantine, and it is the world’s best interest to steer clear of that self-serving path. Certainly we can do so much better, not just for our fortunate selves, but for the rest of the country as well.

Amidst all the fear and uncertainty during these dire times, we can never forget our humanity and our capacity to help the brave workers at the front of this health crisis. Yes, things are being done, actions fortified, and even funds mobilized, but helping out in what way we can really go a long way. Now more than ever, we call on the spirit of bayanihan to link our arms, albeit figuratively, in quelling this fatal COVID-19 pandemic.

There many ways to give, whether it be through monetary aid or supplies. Here are the channels you can offer your help. And even as we extend a little of what we have, let us not forget to, in our way, let them know how grateful we are for all the tireless work that they do.
