Until The End, Daniel Craig Is Set To Wear OMEGA On His Last Run As James Bond

Once again, OMEGA becomes a part of James Bond’s high-risk mission in No Time To Die

One of the most prominent globetrotting agents in the world has worn different watches that help him in his missions. From escaping an armored train to evading an avalanche, James Bond has relied on his chronometers to save his life or fight villains. Among the timepieces he wore are OMEGA and its Speedmaster Professional and Seamaster Planet Ocean models. In No Time to Die set to release in April 2020, OMEGA unveils its newest timepiece for Bond: the Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition. This stunning piece which will be available in February next year is another must-have for fans of OMEGA and 007.

The last mission

OMEGA worked with Daniel Craig and the filmmakers to design this latest timepiece. It makes sense as they have been working in the Bond franchise for long, establishing close familiarity with the character. Though No Time to Die is reportedly the last film of Daniel as James Bond, he is enthusiastic about the outcome of the movie and the watch. He shares, “We decided that a lightweight watch would be key for a military man like 007. I also suggested some vintage touches and colours to give the watch a unique edge.” The incredible watch is not a limited edition so more 007 fans can own one and feel like they are part of the secret missions.

Timepieces come in two’s

Since GoldenEye in 1995, OMEGA has been strapped to the wrist of James Bond in his missions. Yet it is interesting to note that OMEGA always releases two watches–one prior to the film release and one worn by Bond in the movie. No Time To Die is no different. Recently, OMEGA launched the limited edition Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond. It features two models: the stainless steel in 18K white gold and another one in 18K yellow gold plate. Both watches are safe-kept in a suitcase with black and grey NATO straps, resembling the sleek style of an undercover agent.

For No Time To Die, Bond is set to wear a vintage-inspired Seamaster Diver 300M. The aluminum dial and bezel ring comes in an aged brown hue. The straps come in a similar old-fashioned design. You can choose between a striped NATO strap of nude and grey colors or a beautiful titanium mesh bracelet. The watch also features OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8806. It signifies the premium performance, magnetic resistance, and precision of the chronometer. It is truly another handsome and spectacular piece for collectors of the OMEGA and James Bond partnership.
