The PJ’s interior designer also decorated Travis Barker’s (musician and Kourtney Kardashian’s finance) home.
In April last year, Forbes estimated Kim Kardashian’s net worth at $1 billion. However, long before the reality star and entrepreneur joined the billionaire club, she was known for living large. For her 40th birthday in 2020, Kardashian rented a private island worth $2 million to “safely” celebrate amid the pandemic.
The mother of four flew thirty of her loved ones to The Brando resort in Polynesia by renting private jets. Now, Kardashian has her very own customized private jet worth $95 million (almost 5 billion pesos).
Flying in style
In February, she debuted her new ride, a Gulfstream G65OER, by arriving home to Los Angeles from Milan. Although the plane’s standard interior design seems luxurious enough with spacious leather seats and wooden furnishing, Kardashian customized it to match her inclination to monochrome fashion.
The cabin was designed by Tommy Clements and Waldo Fernandez (Fernandez also did the interiors of Travis Barker’s home, musician and finance of her sister Kourtney). It features cream interiors with cashmere finishes that also match the jet’s exteriors. The beige color palette is also reminiscent of her home’s aesthetic.
“Each kid can have their full style and taste in their bedroom and have so much fun. But in the main house, I really like the [color schemes] calmness. And shockingly, four kids haven’t messed up my cream house,” Kardashian said in a video in her home for Vogue.
The video also shows Kardashian’s three luxury cars custom-built with the same gray tone: a Lamborghini Urus, Rolls Royce, and a Maybach sedan the Skims founder considers her favorite.
For an extra personalized touch, the carpet leading up to the aircraft’s staircase says “Kim Air.” Videos of exteriors and interiors were shared on Instagram by Kardashian’s longtime makeup artist and friend Mario Dedivanovic.
