Two of South Korea’s biggest stars get married and we have all the details, from the location, wedding gown, and A-list guests in attendance.
In Crash Landing on You, Ri Jeong-hyeok and Yoon Se-ri had a bittersweet ending: temporarily separated by a fence (on pain of death) they can only see each other once a year (if even) in Switzerland.
This is the only solution they can live with until perhaps Jeong-hyeokβs elderly parents die (morbid!) or North and South Korea can come up with a permanent peace treaty (nearly impossible!).

Luckily, their real-life counterparts are having a real-life happy ending. Today, Hyun-bin and Son Ye-jin tied the knot at Aston House, Walkerhill Hotels & Resorts in Guri, Gyeonggi-do.
Guri is a city in South Korea, located immediately east of Seoul. According to the Grand Walkerhill Seoul website, Aston House is βdesigned in luxurious Jacobean style,β with the ambiance of a 17th-century British mansion, combined with elements of Korean interior design. The house overlooks the Han River, a major thoroughfare that bisects Seoul.
As the ceremony and reception are taking place, guest and paparazzi photos have slowly leaked out of the event.
According to Newsen, Son is wearing the Brunella Wedding Gown by Israeli designer Mira Zwillinger, which the website describes as a βFitted gown with a sweetheart corset and unique abstract lace, and a matching detachable off-shoulder topper and rich detailed detachable tulle overskirt.β
Because this is a wedding with two certifiable A-listers, it stands to reason that the wedding guests are also the cream of the crop of Korean actors and actresses: Gong Yoo, Ha Ji-won, Song Joong-ki, Lee Byung Hun and Lee Minjung, Jeon Mido, Jung Hae-in, Lee Yeonhee, and the entire production team of Crash Landing on You. Sonβs best friend Gong Hyo-jin was the lucky lady who caught the bouquet.
There is no confirmation about the wedding singer, but RnB and Soul singer Gummy is in attendance, so perhaps it is will be her (presumably husband Jo Jung-suk is present as well).
Earlier today, two photos from the coupleβs official wedding photoshoot were released. In Korea, wedding photoshoots are normal and are not to be confused with the wedding itself. In those photos, Son was wearing a gown by Elie Saab and Vera Wang.
UPDATE: Another photo was released of Son in a Valentino gown. In the Instagram post, the brand congratulated their brand ambassador, describing the gown as a “a tulle dress, featuring a sheer top with floral embroideries,” designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli for the Pre-Fall ’22 Collection.
