Weekends call for a tasty dish as a treat to yourself. Most restaurants have prime rib as a Saturday night special, but it’s now safer to try this delightful roast at home. Cooking prime rib can be a rewarding yet daunting task to attempt in your own kitchen. How do you prevent a dried out, over-roasted slab of beef? How do you know its optimal internal temperature while roasting in the oven? The entire process can be a cumbersome and costly episode if you don’t get it right. But now with a single touch, you can perfect this recipe to a tee—no cooking classes required.

All Wolf M Series ovens are equipped with the Gourmet Mode. View the units in the Sub-Zero & Wolf virtual showroom here.

Recreate lip-smacking Saturday night prime rib at home with the Wolf M Series oven’s Gourmet Mode. This mode is a series of pre-programmed settings developed by the chefs in the test kitchens of Wolf. Simply place your seasoned prime rib on your pan and insert your meat temperature probe. Pop it into the Wolf M Series oven, no preheating required. Select Wolf Gourmet Mode, choose Prime Rib, and indicate how you want it cooked—rare, medium rare, or well done. The oven’s intuitive system determines the temperature your dish will need to cook at, as well as the required time it’ll need to finish. It even goes the extra mile by telling you which specific rack you should put your pan on.

With the oven’s intuitive touch screen display, even novice cooks can achieve sumptuous meals at home.

The Wolf Gourmet mode carries presets for various dishes such as fish, meat, pizza, vegetables and more. Put anything in the oven, let it know what you’re doing, and it takes care of the rest for you. All the information needed to prepare a dish has already been developed and programmed into the oven.
