Days after typhoon Rolly destroyed livelihood in the Bicol region, another super typhoon named Ulysses made landfall in Central Luzon, leaving many stranded in their homes amid terrifying flooded areas.
It hasn’t been two weeks since the super typhoon Rolly or Goni left a path of destruction, especially in the Bicol region. Affecting 402,000 families with the death toll rising to 22, thousands fled to over 869 schools as makeshift evacuation centers. Days later, we are hit with another powerful tropical cyclone Ulysses, which made landfall in Metro Manila and Calabarzon. As of writing, many continue to be stuck in their homes as the flood continues to rise in neck-deep levels, drowning houses and buildings alike. Here is a list of charities you can reach out to help rescue these families.

ASEAN Youth Advocates Network
The youth arm of the Association of the Southeast Asian Nation seeks donations for victims of the recent typhoon. As of writing, they had successful relief operations in Marikina City and. The team is now moving to Rizal to distribute essentials.
For Our Farmers
The youth-led non-profit organization helps uplift local farmers and fisherfolk. For the past days, they have been leading relief drives called Project Sagip for typhoon victims in Calamba, Laguna. As it turns, the NGO was the first to reach out to this community. It only shows more people and more barangays are in dire need of help. You may donate to help them offer assistance to inner cities and municipalities.
Tulong Kabataan Network
With many families currently stranded and need rescuing due to typhoon Ulysses, this network of various youth organizations is helping connect volunteers to conduct rescue operations. They have an ongoing Twitter thread where you can help locate individuals and families who need rescuing. The network is also currently preparing soup kitchens in Metro Manila where most families are in immediate need of food, warmth, and shelter. Ambagan PH
The network of volunteers and first-responders to calamities and crisis is now open to immediate relief operations in affected areas. Currently, they are also calling for relief and rescue for those trapped in their homes in San Mateo, Rizal.
Ayala Foundation, Inc.
While the Ayala Foundation still sorts and pack relief goods for families affected by typhoons Quinta and Rolly, you may continue sending online donations through their different channels.
Caritas Manila
The Archiodeces of Manila’s social service remains open to donations as they help typhoon Rolly and Ulysses survivors to rebuild their homes and livelihood.
Save the Children Philippines
As the name of the organization suggests, they aid in securing the future of the children in the country–from their education, their basic needs, to their overall safety. As typhoon Rolly devastated many houses, leaving families separated from each other, children live in fear of incoming typhoons and sadness for their destroyed livelihood. Project Agapay
Bicol, Marikina, Rizal, and Cagayan were among those hard-hit by the typhoon. Project Agapay targets their beneficiaries here. Through cash donations and in-kind donations, the youth-led initiative deploys teams to hand in basic essentials like toiletries, canned goods, rice, bottled water, beddings, and medicines for the victims in the four areas.
Global Giving
The Washington, D.C.-based nonprofit organization is currently raising funds to help frontliners or first responders as they aid typhoon Rolly’s survivors. Through the relief fund, you can give immediate needs like water, food, hygiene products, and shelter. You may donate through this link.

The independent volunteer indigent rescues and shelters different animals, mostly rescue dogs and cats. Apart from food, they give the animals their much-needed medications and supplies to treat their wounds and other sicknesses.
