This picture is worth more than a thousand words.
Kevin Tan, CEO of Alliance Global Group Inc., shared a snapshot of himself with some of the country’s richest men all in the same frame.
“Only @felixthe_cats can bring this group of people together!!!” Tan posted on social media, including the hashtags #latepost, #CigarParty, and #NoBusinessTalk.
Tan was referring to automotive industry figure Felix Ang, who was responsible for the sosyal gathering.
Captured together in two accompanying photographs are Sabin Aboitiz, Rene Almendras, Thomas Arasi, Sid Consunji, Lance Gokongwei, Anton Huang, Gigi Montinola, Anton Periquet, Mike Tan, Mike Toledo, Dennis Uy, George Yang, and Jaime Augusto Zobel de Ayala.
Although the Instagram photo itself only has around 2,800 likes, reposts including by the Facebook page Finance Service Desk have recorded around 30,000 engagements and shares.
Online users have since celebrated the occasion by poking fun at the collective wealth possessed by the men in the “money shot.”
Comments with hundreds of reactions include jokes about how the business moguls were so rich that they could simply buy a fast-food branch whenever their children had cravings.
