South Korean actors Lee Min Ho, Kim Ha Neul, and Jeon So Min are famous faces championing the company’s value of celebrating every individual’s unique beauty.

“Nobody understands the pressure of conforming to beauty standards better than celebrities,” says the Asia Pacific president of Merz Aesthetics®, Lawrence Siow. “Staying confident and embracing your unique self can be difficult when you live in the spotlight.” Through the See My Skin, Lift My Way campaign, the stars reveal their approaches to staying steadfast in the industry—while remaining true to themselves.
During the launch at Seoul’s Floating Islands, attended by Asia-Pacific press, each ambassador took the stage to answer questions on self-care, skin health, and how they stay self-assured. For Jeon So Min, being herself means self-expression through creating art and defining her attitude. The 36-year-old shot to fame in 2004 with the sitcom Miracle. Now, she’s a cast member of the comedy series Running Man and appeared in films such as 2037 (2022), The Name (2020), and Love, Again (2019).
At the Q&A, Jeon So Min shared her excitement about being chosen as an Ultherapy® endorser. The model had been undergoing the treatment for years before she was tapped.
Meanwhile, Lee Min Ho says his confidence roots in a past of no regrets, understanding his present self, and envisioning his future. He’s one of the biggest names in the South Korean entertainment industry, who starred in its top shows like Boys Over Flowers (2009), The King: Eternal Monarch (2020), and films Gangnam Blues (2015), Bounty Hunters (2016), and Get Up (2008).
Expectedly, the actor’s turn on stage amassed the loudest applause, with the keen audience leaving their seats to get a closer look at him. When asked what motivates him, Lee Min Ho flashes his signature smirk and says that the fans’ reactions, just like at the event, keep him going.
Lastly, Kim Ha Neul understands that her beauty shines best when doing things her way. She began her career as a model, which gave her early exposure to being judged based on her appearance. However, she remains confident by staying prepared. Kim Ha Neul says that exercise, eating healthily, and Ultherapy® serve as the best ways to be camera-ready.
The 44-year-old began her career in 2003 when she appeared in My Tutor Friend, then Too Beautiful to Lie in 2004. Her most recent projects include the drama Kill Heel (2022) and the fantasy series 18 Again (2020).
