With the new normal kicking in, everyone simply enjoys special events like weddings and award shows virtually. Instead of a full day of glam and styling, guests can just sit back and enjoy watching through their screens. As this year’s Emmys awarded the winners via livestream, the 2020 Merz Tala Awards pulled it off just the same.

Numerous accolades were given but the most prestigious of those were granted to Dr. Aivee and Dr. Z Teo of the Aivee Clinic. As Dr. Aivee accepted their awards from the comfort of their home, she also believes that receiving them was a privilege, especially during a time where the aesthetic and dermatology industry has been greatly affected. Before she ended her speech, she made sure to thank the host of the night. She said, “[…] and of course, to Merz, who we’ve been working with for the past many years.
