Adorned with the Stars of Love: Presenting Cartier's LOVE IS ALL - Trending

Cartier’s Love is All doesn’t just boast a star-studded cast of characters from different walks of life; it also packs a powerful message succinctly in-tune to the 1974 Roger Glover pop hit

The story of Cartier is a tale that has been told exclusively from the faces, wrists, and voices of significant, trend-setting icons since its inception in 1874. Today, the open-minded Maison is dedicating the chapter of 2022 to modernity; showcasing a who’s who of young, vibrant personalities from Monica Belluci to Jackson Wang, the Love is All film comes as a festive reinterpretation of love infused with a uniquely-Cartier message of timelessness.

Steeped in heritage

Adorned with a yellow gold Pasha de Cartier and Juste un Clou Bracelet, musical sensation Jackson Wang makes his dazzling appearance in Love is All

Only a handful of trademarks can truly say that they have existed for over a century. In this echelon, only one name has spent its long existence with unrivalled prestige and world-changing heritage, and that is Cartier. With their timeless pieces worn by esteemed royals from King Edward VII and Princess Caroline of Monaco, to dazzling stars in Tom Cruise and Mick Jagger, no name captures the textbook definition of iconic better than Cartier.

Of course, such a revered reputation does not just appear out of thin air. Going beyond just crafting high quality pieces, Cartier imbues a mark of uncanny artistry and forward-thinking design in each of its creations. This penchant for dynamism has been the bedrock of the trademark’s identity for decades, which is why the wondrous beauty of this high-energy chorale film comes as no surprise.

A powerful spectacle

Directed by British fashion photographer Charlotte Wales, the one minute and fifty-six second chorale film instantly captures viewers with heavy riffs and the elegant dancing of Mariacarla Boscono. This strong opening is then sustained with the infectious lip-syncing of burgeoning film and television stars of diverse backgrounds and ethnicities; all of which were adorned with tasteful ensembles of Cartier bracelets, necklaces, and watches. Those included were Ella Balinska who featured in 2019’s Charlie’s Angels, the inimitable Monica Bellucci, Game of Thrones’s Maisie Williams, Body of Lies star Golshifteh Farahani, and Annabelle Wallis, who played the leading woman for the acclaimed Netflix series Peaky Blinders. Other familiar faces that appeared were various music icons among the likes of Mélanie Laurent, Lily Collins, Troye Sivan, Willow Smith, Jackson Wang, and Khatia Buniatishvili.

Light and unapologetically contemporary, Love is All is a celebration that manages to remain loyal to the Cartier identity. Defined by a palette of bright reds, whites, and golds, the film packs a simple but hard-hitting message that in the end, perhaps all we truly need is in fact, just love and understanding, especially at a time where we’re faced with a host of unpredictable challenges brought upon by the world everyday.
