Balenciaga

Following the high-profile Balenciaga NYC Show Spring 23 Collection, Adidas immediately made available their joint sportswear line shown in the presentation.

“[The collection] recontextualizes elements of sportswear that have been a part of Balenciaga’s creative language,” according to Adidas.

It features ready-to-wear, shoes, bags, jewelry, and accessories all marked with the signature Adidas badge of sport or trefoil logo over the name Balenciaga.

These applied Balenciaga’s trademark oversized silhouette on usually form-fitting activewear like tracksuits.

The 34-piece line, however, is only available for limited release until May 29.

Ivy Park

Meanwhile, Adidas’ collaboration with Ivy Park will officially drop on May 27.

Adidas and Ivy Park’s Beyoncé jointly announced the Super Sleek, a new sneaker silhouette from their ongoing creative partnership.

The Stan Smith design takes notes from the Adidas Samba. It showcases a dusty white tone, cactus green piping, and a platform silhouette.

Rounding out its look are a football-inspired Samba tongue, three-strap closure, and a classic T-shaped toe box.

The shoe release retails at P7,300. It will be available through the Adidas website and app, as well as its Bonifacio High Street store.

Additional styling options include three crew-sock choices that come with either the Adidas stripes and Ivy Park branding or the latter’s monogram. The three pairs collectively cost P2,000.

“Inspired by the liveliness of the summer season, with the warm weather and all its many activities, the new Super Sleek is designed to give you some swag, as you kick back at your favorite music festival, picnic, and outdoor activity,” Adidas wrote.
