Best friends Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert are now partners for life, but this is just the beginning of their love story.

It’s been 10 years but Vin Abrenica and Sophie Albert’s love story is just beginning. They open up about their relationship and experiences with parenthood through vlogs, taking their viewers through their journey together.

FROM BEST FRIENDS TO LIFE PARTNERS
Vin and Sophie first met on the set of Artista Academy where the pair won Best Actor and Actress. After winning the reality show, they went on to star in their own drama series, Never Say Goodbye. Sophie says while they were already a love team, they began as best friends, building a strong foundation for their relationship to stand on.
Having been together since 2013, 2023 marks their 10th anniversary and the year they finally tied the knot. As he prepared to pop the question, Vin documented his proposal through a vlog. Sophie recounts how she was six months
pregnant with their daughter, Avianna, at the time.
The couple was at her mother’s beach house in Batangas, doing their maternity photoshoot. Then, as they were preparing for their last layout, Vin surprised Sophie with a proposal. White petals were scattered on a dock overlooking the water while fireworks adorned the night sky. The couple stood on rose petals shaped into a heart as they watched the light show.
Afterwards, Vin got down on one knee to ask his longtime partner to marry him. He was met with a quick “yes” and happy tears.
