Aivee and Z Teo's Musical Revelry at Sala -

Music and laughter filled the walls of Sala Restaurant, the venue for the launch of Lifestyle Asia’s very first Home and Design Issue hosted by Dr. Aivee Aguilar Teo and her husband Dr. Z. The intimate dinner gathered the couple’s closest and dearest friends who enjoyed the gastronomical feast meticulously prepared by Chef Colin Mackay. Fun and lighthearted conversation between courses of House hot smoked salmon, pickled beetroot, horseradish, apple and watercress salad; Crispy baby lobster frito, sweet corn, almonds and dill; Ravioli of Portabella mushrooms, ricotta, parmesan and white truffle oil; Mediterranean sea bass fillet with chorizo, octopus, roast peppers and tomatoes and Grilled Jack’s Creek Black Angus tenderloin, horseradish potato galette, roast asparagus and caramelized shallot jus while sipping fine Terrazas Altos del Plata Chardonnay, Terrazas Altos del Plata Malbec and Lapostolle Casa Merlot from Moet Hennessy. As the dessert course of Crème fraiche cheesecake, strawberries, citrus crumbs and strawberry sorbet, Butterscotch and salted macaroons and Vanilla Shortbread were being served guests took their turns singing popular tunes from the 80’s and 90’s accompanied by seasoned musicians. The singing and revelry continued on till the wee hours of the night. Guests went home with Soya Candle from Amber Lights Laguna and memories that will last a lifetime.
