The Nobu Experience: Chef Nobu Matsuhisa is Coming to Manila to Cook for One Night Only, and You Can Be Part of It - Food & Travel

Nobu Manila and City of Dreams has just announced that Chef Nobu Matsuhisa will helm The Nobu Experience, a one-night only culinary affair at the luxury hotel on March 31. Capping off the world tour in which the acclaimed chef visited selected Nobu hotels and restaurants in key cities around the world, the event is highly anticipated and is expected to be a highlight of the year for gastronomes in Manila. The Philippines is Nobu’s final stop, after visiting such cities like London, Milan, Munich, Paris, New York, Melbourne, Perth, and Kuala Lumpur. This is the third time the master chef has organized a dinner in the Metro since opening the restaurant in 2015. Apart from celebrity chef status, Nobu has been the recipient of several prestigious awards such as the GQ Lifestyle Achievement Award, given to him in 2017 at the British GQ Food & Drink Awards.

The Nobu Experience starts at 5PM and ends right before midnight. Guests are offered an interactive culinary experience for a price tag of only P10,000 net per person. Patrons will be able to walk around the room, rubbing elbows with Nobu Manila’s chefs, while indulging in signature dishes passed around canapé style. In additional, there will be a buffet corner and live action stations that will prepare your meal right before your eyes. Guests will also have the chance to meet-and-greet the celebrity chef, and go home with a copy of his book, Nobu: A Memoir. Nobu Manila’s Head Chef Michael de Jesus and Head Sushi Chef Kirika Oi are also participating, supporting Nobu during this special culinary showcase of his signature Japanese-Peruvian fusion artistry.
